Mutt Lynch Wine |  2013 mbf  Chardonnay

2013 "mbf" Chardonnay —a special white wine that blends subtle, reserved aromas with rich, intense and explosive flavors. In this Mutt Lynch Winery's second vintage of mbf Chardonnay, winemaker Brenda used 80% stainless steel and 20% new French oak barrel fermentation.

Winemaker Mutt Lynch Winery is a dog-friendly winery in Windsor California. Mutt Lynch produces award-winning wines with dog-awesome labels and they donate a portion of all annual proceeds to local and national animal rescue organizations. Come embrace the motto at Mutt Lynch Winery; "Apply Dog Logic to Life: Eat Well, Be Loved, Get Petted, Sleep a Lot, Dream of a Leash Free World".
Winemaker Notes Elegance and balance have come to be the hallmarks of our Mutt Lynch “mbf” Chardonnay. Having the color of golden straw, the 2013 vintage opens to delicate floral notes. This is followed by and explosion of tropical and citrus fruit on the palate. The “stony” nature of the wine speaks to its great structure and near perfect acidity. It’s medium-bodied with a lush mouthfeel and a lovely medium-length finish. It’s not hard to find great food pairings for this elegant wine but our favorites include a Camembert cheese and your favorite steamed fish recipe.
